Meet James

A Son of Florida's Soil

James Fishback was born and raised in Broward County — a fourth-generation Floridian who grew up watching the orange groves disappear and the cost of living skyrocket. His mother immigrated from Colombia. His father ran a tree-trimming business before hard times forced the family onto food stamps.

As a kid, James overcame a severe stutter through competitive debate, eventually becoming a national debate champion. He studied international economics at Georgetown before leaving to build a career in finance, founding Azoria Partners — investing in merit-based, America-First companies.

He also founded Incubate Debate, a nonprofit bringing free debate leagues to Florida high schools — because he believes every kid deserves the same shot he got.

At 31, James is running for Governor because he's watched too many Florida families get priced out of the state they built. He's not a career politician. He's a Floridian who's had enough.
